In Parliament, I called on the Government to urgently release the frozen funding for Bath’s new special school.
Parents of children with special educational needs are crying out for special school places across Bath. Funding to build a brand new special school at the Culverhay site was secured but then frozen by the Government with no explanation for 18 months. I pushed for the Government to release this funding so children can get the education and support they deserve.
Following my intervention, the Government announced they would provide the funding for the school. I will continue pushing for it to be built as quickly as possible.
