I called on the Government to call out Trump’s bullying and threatening behaviour towards the UK and EU over Greenland.
Trump’s use of tariff threats to intimidate other countries into handing control of Greenland to the US is wholly unacceptable. Many of my constituents have told me they are willing to accept tariffs if that is the cost of standing up to Trump, and they expect their Government to show the same resolve.
I pressed the Government to take a firm stance and make it unmistakably clear the UK will not be bullied.
