Violence against women and girls is growing, making misogyny a hate crime would be an important step to tackling this.
When in opposition, Labour pledged to make misogyny a hate crime. Now they’re in power, they have gone silent and seemingly forgotten this commitment. If preventing violence against women and girls is truly a priority for this Government they should remember their past conviction, follow through, and deliver this.
