Women are being secretly filmed on nights out, and the footage is uploaded online with misogynistic commentary, comments and abuse. I’ve been campaigning to highlight the danger this poses to women and girls and pushing to make this kind of covert filming a specific criminal offence.
I asked Andy Burnham whether he would back my campaign and look at ways to tackle nightlife filming, including making misogyny a hate crime.
