Preventing Eating Disorder Deaths

Far too many lives are being lost to eating disorders. These could, and should have been avoided with better early intervention and proper care.

The true scale of this crisis remains hidden with eating disorder related deaths often mis-recorded or omitted and recorded as suicide or organ failure.

In parliament I led a debate where I pressed for a confidential inquiry into eating disorder-related deaths so we can identify the failures in the current system and learn where, and how, we must deliver the change needed to prevent these lives being lost.
